National Leadership Trainer

Ideal Profile:
The National Leadership Trainer is a Field Missionary who will support To Every Tribe’s mission to extend the worship of Jesus to every tribe in Southern Mexico by working under the guidance of the Field Director to implement the ministry strategy for a strategic region in Oaxaca.
This role is focused on training, teaching, and preaching in ICUOAX churches, while also actively participating as a contributing member of a local church within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Pastoral & Leadership Development: Train, preach, and teach within regional ICUOAX churches, focusing on leadership development and discipleship while contextualizing biblical truths to the local culture.
- Church Membership: Actively participate as a committed member of a designated ICUOAX church within the region, serving the congregation with humility, patience, and love.
- Outreach & Discipleship: Engage in evangelism and discipleship alongside church leaders, supporting outreach efforts to reach the surrounding community with the gospel.
- Language & Cultural Acquisition: Commit to full-time language study and cultural immersion to achieve mastery in Spanish and deepen regional understanding. Be willing to learn a third local language if necessary for ministry advancement.
- Strategy Implementation & Reporting: Implement regional ministry strategies under the guidance of the Field Director and provide regular operational updates to partners and leadership.
- Team Contribution: Attend and contribute meaningfully to team meetings, coming prepared to discuss ministry progress, challenges, and insights, and actively participate in prayer and planning.
- Conflict Resolution: Commit to being a peacemaker within the team and church community, working to resolve conflicts with grace and fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration.
- Partner Development: Communicate regularly with donors and supporting churches, providing updates on ministry activities, sharing prayer needs, and celebrating ministry successes to strengthen partnerships and encourage ongoing support.
- Additional Duties: Responsible for any other items assigned by the Field Director.
Essential Qualifications
- To be in agreement with To Every Tribe’s mission, distinctives, and Statement of Faith.
- Commissioned, Licensed, or Ordained by a Sending Church.
- Strong teaching and communication skills, with a willingness to contextualize biblical teachings to the local culture.
- Able to work effectively under the guidance of the Field Director, focusing on implementing ministry goals and strategy.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Capacity to teach and preach, and willingness to contextualize to the local culture.
- Personable: reasonably outgoing and able to converse with a wide range of people.
- Committed to be a full-time learner.
- Able to work well in a team-based environment.
- Proficiency in Spanish or willingness to dedicate significant time to language study, with a commitment to cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
- Willing to live within a specific region of Oaxaca to fully engage in the life of the local church, the ICUOAX network, and the surrounding community.
- Able to handle differences on secondary doctrines with grace and patience, trusting in the Holy Spirit and the power of God’s Word to bring transformation, while fostering unity and focusing on primary gospel truths.
- This position requires the employee to live within the community where they serve to fully engage in the life of the local church and community.
Compensation
This position is full-time (40+ hours weekly) and is fully support-based. The worker is required to raise a team of financial and prayer partners to fund all salary, taxes, administrative fees, and ministry expenses.
