The Mission Blueprint Cohort

A 5-month mission certificate program

You know the mission.
Now strategize to execute it.

You’re called to mission, but you’re not interested in guesswork or outdated strategies. You need a clear, step-by-step roadmap to cross cultures, share the gospel, and establish thriving, indigenous churches without burning out. You want to be a High-Impact Church Planter, not a low-impact tourist.

Missionary attrition is real. Don’t let
confusing methods sideline your calling.

Step into a learning environment where you don’t just study church planting, you practice it in real time, through an intensive, five-month online cohort with live virtual sessions for those preparing for long-term missionary service.

The Mission Blueprint Cohort is an intensive (8-12 hours/week) 5-month, cohort-based experience where participants learn by doing—through live sessions, collaborative challenges, peer review, and guided practice in real ministry scenarios. This is not a self-paced course; it’s an interactive, community-driven environment designed to forge the core competencies needed to plant a healthy, indigenous church. Participants engage through weekly live Zoom sessions, monthly 3-hour virtual workshops with missionary coaches, guided reading, written prompts, and forum discussions.

The next program begins July 20th, 2026, and is offered twice a year, in January and July. The cost of the certificate is $2,500 (contact us for scholarship information), with only minimal additional cost for books and materials.

The journey to the unreached is complex and filled
with pitfalls that cause many to leave the field early:

Vision Conflict: Church plants frequently collapse due to differing visions among leadership and/or missionaries. These differing expectations and goals create internal conflict and ultimately undermine the long-term viability of the ministry.

Team Disunity: Even when teams initially align, they often face disunity, struggling to navigate conflicts, which ultimately leads to dissolution.

Misrepresenting Jesus’ Church: The danger of church plants failing stems from a fundamental breakdown — a lack of clear, binding agreement and a shared vision for the church’s ultimate goal and structure. This disunity short-circuits the fulfillment of God’s distinct, powerful, and life-giving design for His church.

We understand the struggle to find usefulness in a complex world, and our training is designed to ensure your gifts are maximized in service to Christ’s kingdom. We don’t just teach theory; we train missionaries to plant indigenous, reproducing churches among the unreached.

The Mission Blueprint Cohort

The Mission Blueprint Cohort equips missionaries with a clear understanding of the essence and process of cross-cultural church planting. This comprehensive training provides a complete overview of the entire church planting journey—from initial engagement to the establishment of a thriving local church.

The primary objective of this cohort is to train the missionary in the core skills necessary to cross a culture, share the gospel, make disciples, and plant indigenous churches.

Upon completion, missionaries will gain an understanding of how to:

Cross a culture and build trust

Share the gospel and make disciples

Conduct demographic studies and solve problems

Help people gather into local churches

Train future leaders

What to Expect

This Certificate is the foundation for all our missionary preparation. We provide a comprehensive framework that covers the entire journey—from Biblical Foundation to Leadership Development—so you start well to finish well.

This highly-interactive course comes with examples, Q&A, hands-on exercises, and tactics you can apply immediately in your own mission context. We will focus on both the “why” and the “how” of cross-cultural pioneer church planting. Expect to put in roughly 40-50 hours of work a month. Each week features a variety of touch-points, including live Zoom sessions with other cohort members, To Every Tribe Staff and Missionaries, as well as other veteran missionaries and missiologists.

A typical week starts off with a prompt to focus on along with self-paced content to learn. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you’ll interact with other cohort members, solving mission-related problems and crafting strategies together. Thursdays and Fridays, you’ll engage with Staff and global Missionaries to learn how they solved those same challenges in their contexts.

You’ll leave this program with greater confidence to apply Biblical wisdom to real life cross-cultural situations, having gained experience in the context of a like-minded Cohort community.
